All receptions are held in the Carriage House with a maximum seating capacity of 200. The Carriage House was built in 2003 and meets all local and state building codes. The Carriage House has its own commercial kitchen and we pride ourselves in preparing all meals on site and using only the freshest ingredients. All meals are prepared at the time of the reception and directly served to your guests. We do not allow outside catering.
Receptions at the Carriage House are broken into two costs. First is the rental of the building and grounds. Second is the cost of the meals.
Rental of Reception site

The rental fee varies depending on the day you choose to have your reception. Prices start at $1,500.
The rental fee includes:
- Site
- Wedding co-ordinator
- Sit down dinner
- Waitstaff
- All tables for number of guests
- Banquet Chairs
- China, stemware, and silverware
- Dance floor
- White double draped linen with white napkins for all guest tables
- Gift, cake, and guestbook tables with white linen and white skirting
- Set up and break down
Total time for the reception is five hours.
Cost for meals
Catering costs vary depending on the meal that you choose to serve your guests. Prices range from $36 to $51 per person.
The price includes:
- Crudites style Hors D'Oeuvres (Cascading array of sliced fruits, cheese, vegetables and dip)
- Salad of your choice from our selection
- Main entrée(s)
- Side dish of your choice from our selection
- Vegetable (Chef’s choice)
- Rolls and butter
- Champagne toast
- Wedding cake
- Cake cutting and serving
- Coffee, Tea, and Iced Tea
Alcohol Service
We provide beer and wine for an additional cost. This service can be no host or hosted. We offer a wide selection of domestic and imported beers. In addition we offer house wines and an excellent selection of premium wines. All alcohol must be purchased through the Lindley-Scott House.
Additional Services
We offer a wide variety of extra services at an additional cost. These should be discussed with our staff at the time of your reservation and certainly no later than a month before your event. An example of extras you might ask about would be: purchasing extra time, valet parking, colored table linens, chair covers, cocktail table, hot and cold Hors d'oeuvres. Others are available, so please ask. |
