Unlike some private estates and other venues, an event at Lindley-Scott House is “one-stop shopping”. Everything you’ll need for a stylish reception is included in your wedding package. There are, however, many options available to meet individual ideas and requests. In addition, there is only one event per day. You will not be sharing your special day with anyone other than your groom, family and friends.

All receptions are held in the Carriage House with a maximum seating capacity of 200. The Carriage House was built in 2003 and meets all local and state building codes. The Carriage House has its own commercial kitchen and we pride ourselves in preparing all meals on site and using only the freshest ingredients. All meals are prepared at the time of the reception and directly served to your guests. We do not allow outside catering.

Receptions at the Carriage House are broken into two costs. First is the rental of the building and grounds. Second is the cost of the meals.

• White double draped linen with white napkins for all guest tables
• Gift, cake and guestbook tables with white linen and white skirting
• Set up and clean up

Total time for the reception is five hours

Cost for meals
The meal cost per person is between $36.00 and $55.00

This price includes:

• Entrée
• Side dish
• Vegetables (Chef’s choice)
• Salad
• Rolls and butter
• Coffee and Tea
• Crudités style Hors D’ Oeuvres (Cascading array of sliced fruits, cheeses, vegetables and dip)
• Champagne Toast
• Cake
• Cake cutting and serving

Alcohol Service

We provide beer and wine for an additional cost. This service can be no host or hosted. We offer a wide selection of domestic and imported beers. In addition we offer house wines and an excellent selection of premium wines. All alcohol must be purchased through the Lindley-Scott House. We do not allow or provide keg beer or allow customers to provide their own beer or wine. In addition we do not provide any hard alcohol or allow hard alcohol to be brought in.

Additional Services

We offer a wide variety of extra services at an additional cost. These should be discussed with our staff at the time of your reservation and certainly no later than a month before your event. An example of extras you might ask about, would be purchasing extra time, valet parking, colored table linens, chair covers, cocktail tables. Hot and cold Hors D’ Oeuvres. Others are available, so please ask.
